Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect nothing. The long version is below, and it says the same thing.

Overview

Soccer Game Tracker is a game management tool for soccer coaches. It is developed and published by Brimfield Labs, a solo independent developer based in Western Massachusetts, United States.

This Privacy Policy describes how Soccer Game Tracker handles your information. The answer is straightforward: Soccer Game Tracker does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Soccer Game Tracker is submitted to the Apple App Store under the “Data Not Collected” App Store privacy label, and this policy is written to match that label exactly.

Information We Collect

None. Soccer Game Tracker does not collect any personal data, usage data, analytics, crash reports, diagnostics, location data, contacts, or any other information from you or your device.

All data you enter into the app — including rosters, schedules, game details, team information, and venue names — is stored exclusively on your device using on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to any server, third-party service, or external system, and Brimfield Labs has no access to it.

Location Search

Soccer Game Tracker uses MapKit’s built-in autocomplete to help you type and select a venue name or address for a game. When you search for a location, the text you type is sent to Apple’s Maps API, and the results are displayed in the app. The app does not collect, store, or transmit the search text to any third party. The venue name you select is stored locally on your device.

Data Not Collected

To be explicit for App Store review, Soccer Game Tracker does not collect data in any App Store privacy-label category — not data that is linked to your identity, not data that could be linked to your identity, and not data that cannot be linked to your identity. No information is used for tracking, advertising, or for any purpose other than running the app on your own device.

Tracking, IDFA, and Ad Networks

Soccer Game Tracker does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It does not access or use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), does not display third-party advertising, and does not trigger the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Network Requests

Soccer Game Tracker makes no network requests to its own servers, analytics platforms, or third-party services. The only network communication occurs through Apple’s own APIs:

  • MapKit autocomplete — when searching for a venue location, text queries are sent to Apple’s Maps API, which returns matching venue names and addresses. This is the only network call the app makes, and it is used solely to populate the search results.
  • Live Activities — when a game is in progress and the app is backgrounded, Live Activities communicates with Apple’s push infrastructure (the Local Push API) to keep the score and timer updated on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. This communication is handled entirely by Apple’s operating system layer and does not expose any data to Brimfield Labs or any third party.

The app does not contain any custom networking code (no custom API calls, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no remote configuration). It can be verified this independently by inspecting the app binary or using a network monitoring tool.

Third-Party Services

Soccer Game Tracker does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or cloud platforms. No data is shared with any third party.

Account and Authentication

No account is required to use Soccer Game Tracker. The app does not support sign-in, registration, or any form of authentication. There is no user profile, no email address, and no credentials of any kind.

Children’s Privacy

Soccer Game Tracker is designed for use by soccer coaches and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone under 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app complies fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable App Store guidelines.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored on your device, you are in complete control. To delete your data, simply delete the app from your device. All associated data is removed at that time. We have no copy of your data and cannot recover it.

Your Privacy Rights

Because Soccer Game Tracker does not collect or retain any personal data on your behalf, there is no data for us to access, correct, export, or delete. Any information the app holds exists only on your device and is entirely under your control. If you have a privacy request or question, contact us using the details below and we will respond.

Data Security

Because no data leaves your device, there is no transmission to secure and no server-side storage to protect. The security of your data is governed entirely by the security of your own device and its operating system. The exception is the two Apple APIs described above (MapKit and Live Activities), both of which are handled by Apple under its own privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above. Changes will be reflected in the version of this policy published at this URL. Because we collect no contact information, we cannot notify you of changes directly — please check this page periodically.

Any future version of the app that introduces data collection will require a meaningfully updated privacy policy and an App Store update, giving you full visibility into any change in practice.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
